Leadership Thoughts from 1 Timothy 3

If you aspire to be a leader, you desire a noble task. (1 Timothy 3:1)

The main requirement for godly leadership is godly character. (1 Timothy 3:2-3)

Before you lead in the church you must lead in your home. (1 Timothy 3:4-5)

Pride is a dangerous enemy to all leaders. (1 Timothy 3:6)

Godly leaders should even earn the respect of outsiders. (1 Timothy 3:7)

Leaders in every position of the church should have godly character. (1 Timothy 3:8-9)

It is good for people to be tested and have their leadership ability proven before they are given a position of leadership in the church. (1 Timothy 3:10)

Godly leadership starts in your home. (1 Timothy 3:11-12)

When you serve well you gain a good standing with people. (1 Timothy 3:13)

Giving clear instructions is important so  people know how to behave and what is expected of them. (1 Timothy 3:14-16)
